On 17 September 2013,  heads of the seven Regional Employment Centers of the Ministry of Labor and  Social Welfare (MLSW) gathered in Prishtina to discuss the findings of the  “Systematic Overview of Public Employment Services (PES) in Kosovo” report ,  developed by the labor market expert Levent Koro and supported by the project  Enhancing Youth Employment (EYE).

This report provided an  overview of Kosovo Public Employment Services (PES) performance and compared it  with public employment services in the region (Serbia, Albania, Slovenia and  Austria). The participants of this workshop recognized this report as very  important input for the MLSW Sectorial Strategy on Employment, Social Inclusion  and Welfare which is under development and will cover the period of  2014-2020.

The Public Employment  Services (PES) is an important area for the EYE project. In partnership with  MLSW, the project aims to improve the quality of PES services and its  efficiency hence serve more job seekers and businesses, and better serve the  needs of the unemployed.
