SDC Project Implemented by Helvetas and MDA

Women in ICT

AUK Institute has conducted first selection test for 256 potential candidates, 50 of which will be selected to attend three tailored made courses provided by AUKI as part of the Project “Female in IT”, supported by EYE. Main goal of this joint activity is to enhance representation of women within ICT labour market. Training will be provided for three different profiles: Desktop Support Technician, System & Network Administrator, and Software & Application Developers.

This activity derives from the latest report on “ICT Skill-Gap Analysis” conducted by EYE in cooperation with STIKK which identified skills gap at the ICT sector, the big discrepancy in gender representation within ICT sector and the need to support women in ICT.

EYE takes a systems approach to problem understanding and an adaptive approach to management.
