Three intensive training weeks were completed for the staff of 4 new career centers established in the professional schools Nexhmedin Nixha – Gjakova, Feriz Guri and Vëllezërit Çaka – Kaçanik, Shaban Spahija – Peja and Zenel Hajdini – Ferizaj. During this training, participants had the opportunity to learn the basic concepts, standards and best practices for providing career guidance services for vocational school students, as well as for the full functionality of these new centers. The training was provided by field expert Visar Ademi.

In addition to the theoretical part, they were challenged with the practical one by drafting the strategy and action plan of these career centers. On the closing day of the training were also the directors of the respective schools, who pledged to support the implementation of the strategy and the draft plan.

The role of career centers will be to facilitate the transition from school to work for students of these vocational schools, as well as provide better career orientation.
