Kosovo PES exchanges experience with Slovenia, Austria and Albania
7 officials of Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW) and Public Employment Services (PES) supported by EYE Project participated in a study visit to Slovenia and Austria on 11-15 November 2013. Delegation visited Employment Service of Slovenia (ESS), central and regional office in Ljubljana, as well as Employment services AMS in Graz, Austria.
Main goal was to exchange experiences regarding employment services and more closely observe the similarities and differences in access to different business processes and thereby identify priorities for reforms. In addition, Slovenian ESS and Austrian AMS provided information regarding their function relationship with central government, private companies, and private employment agencies.
After this study visit, participants shared the information and experience with other colleagues from MLSW and PES directors in a workshop on December 3, 2013. During this workshop, local and central level of governing PES in Slovenia and Austria were presented as benchmarks for future activities of PES in Kosovo. In addition, two representatives of National Employment Services of Albania presented the national job portal www.epunesim.gov.al and shared their experience on this.
