


Three new VET Schools will establish School Based Career Centres
With the aim to improve the skills and competencies of students of the VET schools for a better career orientation, today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between EYE Project, The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (AVETAE) which is founded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST) whose mandate is to support VET institutions in Kosovo for a strong education towards growth of skills and competencies.
Present were the directors of the three Partner Schools: Competence Centre ‘ Kujtim Krasniqi’ in Malisheva, School ‘11 Marsi’ in Prizren and ‘Shtjefёn Gjeqovi’ School in Prishtina.
The purpose of this MoU is to establish School-Based Career Centers in three Partner Schools. Around 3500 students will benefit from the services that three career centres are going to offer.
EYE will support establishment of these centers including refurbishment of facilities with school settlements, equipment with necessary tools, training of the career center staff and provide technical assistance on implementation of yearly plan and monitoring of the project. Schools have committed to allocate the necessary human resources to run the centers.
