EYE organized a study visit to Sofia, capital of Bulgaria from 27 – 31 March for a group of 10 participants. In the study visit participated representatives from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Kosovo Association of ICT (STIKK), Wood Processing Association, and other private companies.

The participants were introduced to the framework and structure of vocational education in Bulgaria as well as to different pilot projects with focus in implementation of dual track education like project DOMINO funded by Swiss-Bulgarian cooperation. The presentation also reviewed recent developments, good practices and new trends in dual education for adults in Europe.

The experience gained during the visit will serve to Kosovo institutions to initiate jointly with private sector companies the introduction of dual track education in Kosovo.
