Today the Rector of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” (UP-HP), Mr. Marjan Dema and Timothy Sparkman and Durim Hoxha on behalf of Project EYE signed a Memorandum of Understanding to functionalize the existing Advisory Boards (often called Industrial Boards) within the Faculty units of UP-HP as well as establishing new ones.

Rector Dema on behalf of UP-HP offered full commitment to develop further these valuable mechanisms that incite dialogue between academia and private sector in order to address properly skills supply by high education institutions according to real market demand.

Up to date 6 such ABs were created by various Faculties through the support provided by EYE. Three additional ABs were established lately independently by Faculties and referring to the success achieved by previously established boards.

Hereby EYE and UP-HP want to continue cooperation to enhance further the effectiveness of the established AB’s as well as incite other faculties to do so.
