Heini Conrad, Program Director of EYE, and Agon Gashi, Director of Meridian Express, signed an agreement on development of strategic planning and company reorganization for Meridian Express, as one of the leading and fast growing retailers in Kosovo. This agreement is part of the Human Capital Development Initiative instigated by EYE at the beginning of 2014, where the HR Managers of Meridian Express were trained, and in-house diagnostics were conducted as result of it.

With this joint intervention, Meridian Express will be supported during next 12 months by a renowned international consultant, ex CEO of one of the biggest global retail chains, to develop their Strategic Planning, establish advanced HR practices and Certified Management Program, while providing strategic and tactical advice regarding retail operations.

Whole operation is expected to allow Meridian Express to apply new HR, business, and investment practices that will lead to job creation in the targeted sector of agribusiness / food and retail.
